Our Story
The seed for Bauhaus Konstruktion was planted not on a job site, but at dinner tables. We began noticing a troubling pattern: friends and family members were embarking on dream home projects that quickly turned into nightmares.
Despite their best intentions, they were suffering through significant timeline delays, confusing technical jargon, and "change orders" that ballooned their budgets once construction was already underway. They felt out of control and unheard.
That’s when we realized there was a missing link in the traditional construction model: The Homeowner’s Advocate.
We founded this company to fill that void. We exist to ensure that you are never "just another project" to your build team. We provide the oversight, technical translation, and rigorous management necessary to keep your project on track and your investment secure.

Axel Stelter Principal & Lead Consultant
Axel brings a rare combination of disciplines to the table, offering clients a perspective that few in the industry can match. Trained as an architect at UC Berkeley and holding a California General Contractor license, Axel understands the construction process from both sides of the blueprint.
He speaks the language of the architect, respecting the integrity of the design, and he speaks the language of the builder, understanding the logistics of the hammer and nail.
This dual expertise allows Bauhaus Konstruktion to identify potential issues before they become expensive problems. Whether he is reviewing architectural plans for constructability or walking a job site to ensure quality control, Axel serves as the bridge between high-level design and on-the-ground execution.
